"The mind is capable of anything - because everything is in it, all the past as well as the future"
Joseph Conrad "You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have truely lived, are the moments when you have done things in a spirit of love" Henry Drummond |

Once you have a collection of Soul Statements you'll begin to see how you create yourself and your life. Before you change yourself you'll need to decide who you shall become. You'll notice that somewhere in this site is a personal mission statement. It's not a bad idea to have a general 'thesis' to your life, a motif perhaps. If you look at great and happy people they generally do one of two things. Firstly, they decide on an interest in life, then they link it to a talent. So I'm interested in the psychology of happiness and I have a (debatable) talent for writing, so now I'm a writer with a mission! If your mission in life in even vaguely altruistic then maybe you'll have more meaning, or be more focused? So even if your main interest in life was drinking, being with friends in peaceful, hassle-free times and your main talent is loquacity -and you're a bar-worker, then your mission could be to bring friendship or understanding to the lonely people you may come across. You could informally counsel people who could be helped by it but would never consult a professional. Think of your goals and the way you want to live, maybe you would ask your dreams or use other methods in this site. Of course, you could already be an exceptionally focused individual and don't really need me whining on like this. Well, I just thought you might be a little directionless - you're not! By golly, I do apologise.
