You may visualize, use affirmations or use positive thinking, but how do they work - understand the inner magic of possibility and watch your dreams come true, welcome to happiness!

How exactly can the Fourth Force transform our lives? Everything comes down to one little secret. When you've genuinely understood that, you can attain everything - and be happy despite of it.

What is Quantum?

Before I tell you, let me digress into physics to better explain it. Ever since Ancient Greece, everyone thought the world could be explained by classical physics; that everything around us could be measured and predicted - and for a time it was true. If someone throws a tennis ball in the air, you can work out from its speed, angle, projectile etc. exactly where it will land.

Then they started messing about with the particles that circle the nucleus of atoms and it all fell apart. They discovered two things:

  1. All atoms are spinning. When they slow down they have less mass; when they speed up they have more mass. If they stop spinning, they have no mass, they're not there - they disappear! Atoms, the building blocks of everything in the universe (even gas) are nothing but movement itself (kinetic energy), when they don't move they're not there. If all the atoms in the universe stopped moving, the world would disappear. Nothing exists except movement.
  2. You can do a collision experiment, i.e. use a particle accelerator to collide two particles together at the speed of light. When you do this the particles explode into new particles. Remember that atoms (and thus everything) are only movement itself. If particle A was travelling at the speed of light, and particle B was travelling at the speed of light, then when they collide, they hit each other at twice the speed of light - but they can't spin faster than the speed of light -therefore they explode into new particles, but twice as many as before! Speed alone can create mass.

Well, all this isn't even the big deal. The big deal is that there are different types of particles that can be created. When an experiment is repeated again and again, exactly the same experiment, the results are never identical. It can be worked out how much energy will be in the collision, exactly which particles might be created and where, and the exact statistical chance of each option happening. But until the experiment is complete and a result has actualised, only chance, the possibilities of various possibles, can be predicted. In the sub-atomic world, nothing can be predicted except the possibility of possibility.

How is quantum relevant to our inner-dreams and happiness?

So what's that got to do with your dreams and happiness? Well, that's the secret. The whole thing comes down to possibility, because, as any quantum physicist will tell you - nothing exists in the universe except possibility.

Think of a time you were feeling thoroughly down about something, say a job just before you decided to quit. Everything was bad, the boss acted like an idiot every day, you only ever got to meet the same people and if you didn't leave as soon as possible, then you'd still be there in five years time. All the possibility had gone from the situation.

But when you were first employed there, you might have really enjoyed it. You looked forward to turning up the first day because it was full of possibility. The new boss or one of the staff could turn out to be a life-long friend; you might have excelled at the work you were doing and become a CEO or a self-employed consultant; you might have ended up marrying one of then clients. Though you didn't consciously think of any of these possibilities, you knew there were some kind of possibilities in the situation. It was something new you were doing and you had no idea of what could come of it. It had possibility.

Or think of a different example, when you're wound up generally, you're thinking of the negative things that could happen, the imbeciles you knew in the past and that you could meet similar again. If you're scared of flying you're thinking of the possibility of crashing; the relaxed people on the plane are thinking of the possibility of landing and having a good holiday.

I've already mentioned something similar elsewhere in this site, but I'm writing it as a separate essay because it really is the crux of your inner-method either working or not working.

Your mind is full if beliefs and those beliefs manifest your life because you express them in four different ways.

Habits.
Aspirations.
Attitudes.
Thoughts.

These four things can't be out of synch with your beliefs. If, for example, you hate dogs, then you don't have good thoughts about them, nor are you I the habit of petting them - and you certainly don't aspire to own one. Quantum Magic The thing is that these four expressions of inner-beliefs shorten your 'web of experience'. For example, you aspire to be free of dogs; your habits are to avoid them because of your negative attitudes concerning them, thus in your life, the web of experience that these four things create around you doesn't contain the animals. You even dwell on negative media accounts of them and this strengthens the beliefs, and so the attitudes, habits etc. Because of the way your belief has structured your 'web of experience' i.e. to exclude dogs, you're not likely to meet a friendly one that could change or modify your belief.

In this case, where did the actual belief come from? It's there because you are FOCUSED on the possibility of being bitten or slipping in dog mess, not on companionship they could bring or fun days out with the dog and family.

Therefore, all beliefs are beliefs in possibilities of some kind. Your negative beliefs, which hold you back/shorten/restrict your 'web of experience', are based the possibilities of negative things happening; conversely, your positive beliefs that widen your web of experience are based on the beliefs of positive, happy possibilities. Of course, when you have positive beliefs of possibilities then you expand your web of experience, you actually do broaden the chance of positive things actually happening because you put yourself into more situations via widened habits, thoughts etc.

So, to reverse the example, someone who loves dogs, aspires to get on well with them, has the attitude that they are faithful companions, positive thoughts concerning them and is in the habit of stopping to pet them - has a wider web of experience, and thus possibility. They meet more dogs, therefore have many more positive experiences with them and their positive belief is strengthened even further. If they get bitten once, that negative memory is stored and compared with many more positive ones and so somewhat negated. So they have a wider web of life, agreeable experiences and a happier, richer existence because their belief of positive experiences with dogs (the possibility of them) isn't diminished.

So, through the other practices in this site, you may discover a belief that is holding you back and you want to change it and be free to manifest a different, more contented life - what do you do? Firstly, why is it a negative belief? What negative possibilities are you dwelling on? How to change them?

Changing negative beliefs.

When you are doing the inner-practice, say visualisation of something you want, let's also say (although it's a little silly, it will do to explain) it's a dog not biting you. The reason the dog bites you now is because of the belief in the negative possibility of the dog wounding you; you usually think about this and feel a stab of fear. Now, in the inner-practice, you consciously visualise the dog wagging its tail and playing with you. When you believe in the possibility of this happening, truly believe (and if it is something you really want), then you will feel a stab of excitement. This is it. If you can do that, even only for a moment each day, then slowly, little by little, your focus shall change from the negative to the positive possibilities. After enough days, your focus on positive possibilities will become a new belief, you'll know it's a belief from the physical excitement. When you have a fresh, genuine belief, your thoughts, attitudes, aspirations and habits will change. Then you shall widen your web of experience - thus increasing your possibilities - you'll expand your experiences and horizons together. As the positive possibilities begin to manifest, then your belief in them becomes even stronger because they're often reinforced.

Quantum Meditation

In fact, as you pursue the inner-practice, then possibility becomes a kind of meditation. You are thinking of the things you wish to be or acquire and you need to feel physical excitement, the only thing that can cause this physical excitement is a genuine belief in possibility. Eventually you won't even need mental pictures, this excitement can be brought on independently be meditating on possibility itself - and when you can do this then you realise you are close to the secret of absolute happiness.

When you are meditating on possibility you feel physical excitement, and so happiness, as you are not attached to what has already become and thus lost its possibility, but are close to the possibility of the unformed. It's much like Yin and Yang of Taoism. Yin is the unformed, pure possibility, as we ourselves are only possibility and can manifest as we please from our minds; therefore Yin represents passivity as there is no need for worldly action to obtain the things we desire and our happiness. Yang would then represent the formed, what has already become and so has lost its possibility - to change something in this situation requires action as possibility has gone in what has already become.

We could even go as far to say that if our inner-practice leads us to focus on the unformed possibility, then we are close to the Tao itself; and when we are focused on the manifested, concrete ideas and situations that require force to change them, then we are far from the Tao - we lose our possibility. If we have a fixed opinion of the way something is, then how can we manifest an alternative we don't believe in? imagine someone who complains they get hay fever every summer, they've just made something concrete and ruled out a possibility. Let me speculate further:

UNHAPPINESS = focusing on negative possibility, the bad things that could happen in a situation or the way in which things couldn't change - being immersed in the concrete nature of what has already become and so cannot become something else, thus lacks possibility and is far from the Tao.
HAPPINESS = close to the Tao, much possibility in the unformed, in what has not yet become but could be. Fluidity. Passivity because only the possibility exists. Faith in the unformed.

Is it insane to speculate that God/Tao/Happiness Itself is actually...

nothing but possibility?

So what would the practice/goal of such a quantum meditation be?

To return to childhood; to regain the unbounded excitement that we had about all of life at that time. We believed anything was possibly, everything was fluid - and when we embraced the concrete, fixed ideas and set beliefs - we grew up and lost our ultimate happiness.
To inspire physical excitement that we can feel which will assist our manifestation of new beliefs. This will become clearer in the later inner-method page.
Avoidance of the solid, fixed ideas and beliefs - the things that stop us being whatever and wherever we please.
As a kind of waking practice which could be combined with the later outer-practice, we could watch or read negative media, like articles or programs that annoys us or causes unhappiness, and then focus on the positive possibility in the situation being reported and a natural passive way each situation could work itself out.
A meditation on pure possibility, a formless meditation on excitement and joy itself.

And before you know it, you're transformed.
